         Welcome to Concierge Speech! I am a certified speech language pathologist who graduated with my master’s degree from the University of Alabama. My professional career began with the adult population at a skilled nursing facility in Birmingham. There, I gained invaluable experience providing aphasia, cognitive, swallowing, memory care, and voice therapy while working with patients suffering from stroke, TBI, dementia, and more. I started working as a professional with the pediatric population shortly after leaving the skilled nursing facility. I have spent my time working with children with Autism, Down Syndrome, language impairments, stutters, articulation deficits, and other developmental disorders. This has given me extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of language, articulation, fluency, social skills, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) use. Although I have experience in a wide range of services, I specialize in language (with children and adults), cognitive, social skills, and AAC therapy. I'm inspired by the diversity of opportunities in this field, and I truly feel that I have the ability to touch many lives in a meaningful way.
